Community Planning Partnerships (CPP)
A Community Planning Partnership (CPP) is the name given to the arrangement where a number of organisations come together to plan deliver and monitor improvements in their area.
There are 32 CPPs across Scotland, based on local government and Third Sector Interface boundaries. Each CPP focuses on where partner organisations' collective efforts and resources can add the most value to their local communities, with particular emphasis on reducing inequality through statutory plans.
Read the Local Outcomes Improvement Plan and Locality Plans (LOIP).
Community participation
Community participation is at the heart of community planning. There are opportunities to get involved with the work of individual partner organisations and the Community Planning Partnership collectively, including through the Stakeholder Group and the Dumfries and Galloway Participation and Engagement Network.
