Its Executive Group brings together senior representatives from Education, Health, Social Work, Police Scotland, the Scottish Children’s Reporter Administration and Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway. The group promotes a collaborative, partnership-based approach to the delivery of children’s services across the region.
The partnership agrees shared priorities and outcomes for children, young people and families in Dumfries and Galloway. The Executive Group is responsible for developing and delivering the Children’s Services Plan on a three-year cycle, in line with legislative requirements and for providing oversight and scrutiny of its implementation.
In addition, the partnership provides a strategic platform for multi‑agency planning, development and continuous improvement of children’s services across Dumfries and Galloway.
