Locality Plans

Locality Plans are a legal requirement and set out what partner organisations are doing to tackle inequalities and socio-economic disadvantage in the places in the Community Planning Partnership area that are the most affected.

Eight areas were agreed by our Community Planning Partnership Board on 1 September 2023 to have a Locality Plan. They are:

  • Annan East
  • Annan West
  • Dumfries Central
  • Lochside and Lincluden
  • Stranraer East
  • Stranraer West
  • Summerville
  • Upper Nithsdale

It was agreed by the Community Planning Partnership Board (CPPB) that the format of the locality profile; and that Kirkconnel and Kelloholm would be a pilot.
